Hi everyone and welcome to the fourth challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges but before I tell you what it is I would like to thank all those of you who played along with our layout challenge. I can't believe how fast the time is going.

Anyhow our challenge this week is.........

Here is my inspiration for you using Craft Artist Professional 2 - yes I have succumbed!

We got these two little beauties from The Cats Protection League - they have taken a while to settle down but we are nearly ready to let them go out.

I have used the Daisy Trail kit Furry Friends.

Digitally Sweet Challenge #3 A Layout

Hi everyone and welcome to the third challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges but before I tell you what it is I would like to thank all those of you who played along with our flowers challenge.

I would also like to remind everyone that this is a totally digital challenge - 100% so unfortunately we cannot consider entries with just a digital image for example.

Now without further ado our next challenge is a layout

 

Now this has been adapted from one of the layouts on a Daisytrail kit called Modern Lace.

 

Here is my interpretation.........

 

 

 

I have used Craft Artist Professional 1 to make my layout and used elements from the following Daisytrail kits

Enchanted (Letters)

Cupid (Ribbon and gem swirls)
Butterfly Elegance (Butterfly)
Family Tree (Heart)
Cakeshop (Frame plus general flowers brush).

Aud Sentiments Challenge #63 Reminder

Hi everyone, it's Thursday again and time for another reminder for you.

I have coloured the image with Promarkers and edged the die cut with TH Distress Ink Wild Honey. The bats and cat are made from a punch and are black glitter card. The background paper is from Bearly Mine and was a freebie here. Unfortunately, the ribbon is covered bit it has some great spidres web on it.

Here is my inspiration for you............

 

 

I have used Serif Craft Artist and a Daisy trail digikit called Moonlight Forest. I used one of the blend modes on a photo of my yellow rose and put it on the background which is from the Polka Doodles Studio 12 CD Rom called Picknix Collection 1.

Thank You and a New Challenge Blog

OK guys I'm back and would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who left me messages regarding the loss of a close family member. It really helped as did the funeral on Tuesday. I have been to far too many funerals but this is the first one where I have felt it has helped me through the grieving process. At the wake afterwards the family were able to talk about our memories and have lots of comforting hugs.

 

So although my mojo has not completely returned I feel ready for a new beginning of sorts. Some time ago I used to be a member of  "Lasting Memories" Scrapbook Challenge , since I left I have kept in contact with the owner Karen and another member Denise. Anyway a while ago Karen asked me if I would be interested in joining her new venture with Denise - Digitally "Sweet" Challenges.

Needless to say I agreed and the rest as they say is history. I wasn't sure if I would manage to start right at the beginning but thankfully I have made it.

So without further ado I would like you all to join in with the very first challenge at Digitally "Sweet"....

As this is a new challenge I have added the rules here...

 

Challenges are simple .. as well as a challenge blog, this is also to inspire both digital users and non-digital users alike. Challenge yourself, go a little out of your creative zone and see what happens!!

Ok, so lets get to those rules

• Challenges run Friday at 8am EST to the following Thursday at 9pm EST
• Unless otherwise stated, we're going to be as digital as we can here .. card faces and layouts especially. Some challenges will deal with altered items, so just follow the challenge that week :)
• Enter as often as you like!! The more inspiration, the better - UNLESS we have a sponsor, in which case, we ask for 1 entry per person.
• No back linking please!
• Please follow each challenge, especially if there is a sponsor - those not followed will not be entered in the prize draw.
